Profs. Erdin Bozkurt (Chairman of METU Geological Sciences), Lijun Zhang (CUG International Office Vice-Director) and Tim Kusky (Director of CUG Center for Global Tectonics) are commemorating the signing of the  "Memorandum of Understanding and Agreement on Educational Cooperation" between Middle East Technical University, and China University of Geosciences, Wuhan". This is part of the larger China-Turkey-Iran Research Consortium involving several universities in these countries, and the Center for Global Tectonics at CUG Wuhan.
