Three professors from the National Field Station were selected as the top 2% scientists in the world
Recently, Stanford University and Elsevier released the World's Top 2% Scientists 2020, and Professor Tim Kusky, Professor Tang Huiming and Researcher Dou Jie of Badong Geological Disaster Field Scientific Observation and Research Station in Hubei Province were selected.
The list is based on Scopus database, and based on comprehensive indicators such as citation frequency, H factor, HM factor, etc., according to "career influence" and "annual influence", the top 2% scientists in the world are selected from nearly 7 million scientists, which are divided into 22 fields and 176 sub fields. The data shows the comprehensive citation index ranking of each scientist within its sub discipline. This data provides a measure of long-term scientific research performance of scientists, and objectively and truly reflects the influence of scientists from the perspective of papers.
The top 2% of the world's top scientists include the "Ranking List of Lifelong Scientific Influence" and the "Ranking List of Scientific Influence in 2020". Professor Tim Kusky was selected into the "Ranking List of Lifelong Scientific Influence" and in the top 0.1% of the top 2% globally in all science fields in the database, and the "Ranking List of 2020 Scientific Influence", and Professor Tang Huiming and researcher Dou Jie were selected into the "Ranking List of 2020 Scientific Influence".
